Boris Batin, Co-founder, CEO, ID Finance

Charles is Co-founder and Managing Partner of TNB Aura, as well as Executive Director in Aura Group. With deep VC / PE experience – he is focused on the SE Asia region and technology investments.

Prior to TNB Aura and Aura Group, Charles spent over 8 years in management consulting across Asia with Booz & Company – with focus on corporate strategy and M&A.

Charles holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (George F. Baker Scholar – top 5% of class) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales (University Medal, First Class Honours).

Adrian Mendoza, General Partner, Mendoza Ventures

Adrian is a founder and General Partner of Boston based Mendoza Ventures which invests in early stage AI, Fintech, and Cybersecurity companies. Mendoza provides an actively managed approach to venture capital by investing in areas where they have deep industry expertise, companies with early revenue, a clear value proposition to a market, while using a proven due diligence model.

Adrian is an experienced entrepreneur, investor, and operator. Prior to starting Mendoza Ventures he founded multiple VC backed companies and led technology teams during his 30 years of experience. He has built products for the financial, insurance, and large US brands. He is a published author, innovator, and thought leader in the technology, startup, and VC space.

Katya Kohen, Managing Partner, 13 Ventures

Katya Kohen, Managing Partner 13 Ventures. Katya is on a mission to bring innovation to the people by providing capital and other resources to entrepreneurs. Katya invests in growth-stage consumer-facing products or solutions and provides alternative investment options with double-digit returns to investors through 13 Ventures.

With over 10 years of entrepreneurial experience in the startup ecosystem and corporate world, Katya loves sharing her experience to mentor fast-growing businesses and entrepreneurs. Katya draws from her experience as the Co-Founder and Partner at Starta Ventures, which has amassed a portfolio of 100+ early-stage startups with $90M in VC funding and crypto assets. Under her guidance, Starta Ventures achieved its first exit within two (2) years of deploying capital providing a 10x return; Starta later achieved four (4) exits within three (3) years of the fund's launch. Katya received her Master's degree in International Economics and now she is a PhD candidate in Economics. She is a published author of books on marketing and entrepreneurship. Katya is a contributor to Forbes magazine and other business publications.

Xavier Segura, Managing Partner, Tessera Venture Partners

Xavier launched Tessera Venture Partners to fund early-stage technology by applying the techniques he utilized in the tech industry during three successful acquisitions. After tremendous success with Tessera's inaugural fund, Xavier is raising his second fund to expand growth-stage and new investment opportunities. Before launching Tessera, Xavier spent a decade working in product and business-development roles at Oracle, Verizon, and AppNexus. He has been a member of over $10 Billion worth of tech acquisitions by helping build and commercialize technology stacks using machine learning. Xavier was a member of the selective Stanford GSB business scaling program, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from the University of Michigan.

Gilad Engel , Partner, Target Global

Prior to joining Target, Gilad was a Vice President responsible for strategic alliances at Elastifile (acquired by Google). Before that he was at Anobit Technologies (acquired by Apple), where he was the Vice President in Business Development and Co-manager of the SSD business unit. Before Anobit, Gilad was a Business Development Director at M-Systems (acquired by SanDisk).

He is also a board member at Plessey Semiconductors and an active angel investor in more than 10 companies, several of which were acquired.

Miles Jason, Managing Director, VFS Innovation Ventures/VFS iLabX Fund/Volvo
